Nemarluk School

This project was a vision that came to life. Nemarluk School were seeking to provide to the students and the greater school community, an inclusive play space in which the children, could interact with each other in the one play space regardless of disability.

The plan was in place, the equipment selected, Proludic Cargo Aeroplane but the school was short on funds to get the project ‘off the ground’. The Wings Project was founded and through tireless hours of fund raising and many contributions from the school community and local businesses, the wings project took shape.

NT Sports and Playground erected temporary fencing for the duration of the project and site preparation was underway. The custom Proludic Cargo Aeroplane was installed with Rosehill TPV® rubberised softfall, kerbing and pathways for smooth access to the play space. The hard shade structure was decided upon and erected after Cyclone Marcus, with the hard shade structure to resemble a hangar.

A community effort for a great cause and a great asset to the school for years to come.
